If you read the Gospel of John Chapter 20, it says the disciples could also forgive sins. Why because they were given the authority to do so. Also how was Jesus able to forgive sins? Because he was given the authority to do so. Notice the word given he didn't always have it. So if that means that forgiving sins makes Jesus God-- that makes the disciples God as well.
